We all hoped that Saturday Night was going to go well for Dec as he took to the Saturday Night Takeaway Stage without his partner for the first time.
According to The Sun TV chiefs, including Simon Cowell, “The bosses at ITV loved him and want him back on screens as soon as possible. As a result of this, Simon Cowell totally agrees and says that he is the best man to present the next Britains got Talent rather than bringing in a new face!
Of course it was strange to see Dec without Ant and “it’s not to say people didn’t miss Ant, but the overwhelming response was that Dec was fantastic solo too” said a BGT source.
Ant will still appear in some of the BGT show, as a large part of the talent competition has already been pre-recorded.
The finale of Saturday Night Takeaway will air next weekend as the show’s cast jet off to Florida for filming.
