It was announced today that the Step Up lovers had decided to call it a day on their 12 year relationship.
The couple kept their relationship going when the cameras stopped rolling and tied the knot in 2009. After nine years of marriage the couple has now taken to their instagram pages and released a statement explaining their current situation.
The pair go on to say how they feel they have to tell us this news and want to set the story straight before lies and rumours surface. We totally get that!
“First off, it feels odd that we have to share this kind of thing with everyone, but it’s a consequence of the lives we’ve chosen to lead, which we also happen to be deeply grateful for. We’re living in an incredible moment in time, but it’s also a time where truth can easily get distorted into ‘alternative facts’.
“So we want to share the truth so you know that if you didn’t read it here then it’s most certainly fiction.
They say nothing has changed in regards to how much they love one another “just two best-friends realising it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible”. We love them!😍
