The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy today!
She went into labour this morning and was transferred to the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, central London. The new arrival weighs 8lbs 7oz and is fifth in line to the throne and the Queen’s sixth great-grandchild.
A Kensington Palace statement said Catherine and her new son are “both doing well” and that members of both families had been informed.
