It’s confirmed, Cadbury is launching an Oreo flavour of its famous Crème Egg in the UK and it’s going to make all of our chocolate dreams come true.

Our favourite confectionery giant has revealed that it is going to be launching full-size Oreo Creme Eggs for the very first time in 2019 following the success of the miniature versions last year and we can’t wait!

The creamy chocolatey treat will launch next year in January 2019 at a higher price than regular Crème Eggs at 58p each. The naughty new treat will be around until Easter which means we have a whole 4 months of enjoying the delicious snack.

Oreo Eggs have the same milk chocolate shell as a normal Crème Egg, however the inside consists of a white cream filling with shards of Oreo biscuits, and quite honestly, it sounds incredible.

If you’re still yet to be persuaded, you may be interested to know that each egg will also contain less sugar with only 16g per egg compared to 26.5g sugar than the original Crème egg. Even better!

Brand Manager at Cadbury, Aislinn Campbell said: “We are constantly listening to what our customers want and we know fans went wild last year when they heard about the Oreo Egg,”

“So for Easter 2019, we are bringing this to the UK and we cannot wait for everyone to try it.”

If you can’t wait till then, Cadbury has already launched a spooky version of their classic crème eggs just in time for trick or treating. The new Goo Heads are a spooky Halloween treat that are each filled with gooey white fondant, encased in a divine Cadbury chocolate solid shell.

You can take your pick of the eerie Halloween characters from scary skeleton, petrifying pumpkin, frightening Frankenstein, dreadful Dracula or a terrifying Were-Wolf.

The new chocolate range is available in all major supermarkets and priced at 55p each or 89p for a mini pack of eggs.
